Patricia Huff was born and grown in Missoula, Montana. Her love for the camera began while serving in the US Coast Guard fallowing High School. Traveling to many countries and meeting all types of people she found she had a passion for their inner beauty. After four children all in school, she returned to school and received her BA in Fine Arts and a Minor in Art History and Irish Studies. All Patricia has wanted to do is photograph the inner beauty of a person. moments all over the world. There's a picture around every corner.
I specialize in Cyanotype . A historic photography process that turns the image blue. When ferric ammonium is mixed with potassium ferricyanide, it becomes sensitive to light. These chemicals can be applied to an organic surface and left to dry in a dark room. Once dry, objects or film negatives can be arranged on top and placed in the sun. The image is developed in the sun under UV rays reacting with the chemicals. After a time the object is then rinsed in water, developing the image just like a Black & White photo is n a dark room, it's a satisfying process. This is a hands on approach to photography that creates unique and original artwork. Sometimes it takes many attempts to get the desired outcome especially on custom orders.
Photography is the science, art and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. I offer fine photographic art in Montana
